Our June trip on the Seaton Memory Tram

23rd June 2024

Last week 24 members had a very special afternoon on the Seaton Memory Tram.

The sun shone and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and birdlife in Seaton wetlands.  Our memory theme was 50’s and 60’s music, so we were serenaded on the tram by the music of Buddy Holly, the Supremes and many more.

At Colyton we were treated to a fabulous afternoon tea and more reminiscence with the lovely ladies who ensured the afternoon went with a swing. We then caught the tram back to Seaton where the Trip Bus was ready to takes us home to Sidmouth.

Thanks to everyone at the Tramway and the Trip bus drivers who looked after us so well.  Special thanks to Steve our Sidmouth Voluntary Services driver who waited at Twyford House to ensure everyone got home safely.
