On Wednesday 27th April, 38 of our members enjoyed a lovely stroll amongst the bluebells at Blackbury Camp, followed by a delicious cream tea and a talk on bee-keeping at Blackbury Honey Farm.
It was wonderful that all our members were able to join this outing – some just took in some fresh air and saw the bluebells from a short distance, whereas others strode off through the bluebell woods.
Afterwoods, everyone enjoyed a cream tea, a chat and a fascinating talk by Ken, bee-keeper at Blackbury Honey Farm, whilst looking out at the beautiful flowers outside the cafe window. It was truly a trip to stimulate all the senses and enjoyed immensely. Thank you to Blackbury Honey Farm for their hospitality.
